Happy Christmas!

Looks like we're going to have a white Christmas here in Fayetteville! I'm very excited!
I'm packing up my bags and headed over to my parents for my annual Christmas sleepover. Cheese, Tea, and biscuits for the next twenty four hours along with National Lampoons Christmas Vacation thrown in the mix!
Happy Christmas, friends! Cherish the little moments and be safe!

"I hate uncle Jamie"

-Love Actually

Watched this brilliantly british Christmas film tonight and cried my eyes out. I don't think I could stomach The Family Stone tonight as well. Perhaps I'll save that one for tomorrow!

I Love...

This note because it's true...

this bed... I'd love a nap in this bed...
the careless silliness of these two... i love to let loose and have fun...
this picture because it's sweet...
the juxtaposition of this picture...
white, vintage Christmas decorations...

the solitude of this picture...
the nutcracker... and Christmas.

A very merry sunday.

I'm off to the grocery store to pick up a few supplies and head over to my parents house. I have not been in Christmas spirit all month, and it's not that I don't want to be in the Christmas spirit... I just can't get there! I'm hoping that 13 Christmas trees, baked goods, and my lovely parents will help!

On another note... I am very envious of all my buddies in upstate Maryland who are snowed in! I lived there for 8 years and survived the 'BLIZZARD OF '96!' hahaha! I remember the snow being higher than the mailbox and a 4 ft tunnel from the front door of our house to the car but it wasn't like we were gonna be going anywhere! I loved it... as a child! Now, ehhhhh.... not so sure how I'd react come to think of it!

Hope you all are in the spirit of things this weekend! If you have any suggestions let me know!

"It's margaritas when the eggnog's gone..."

Tonight is the much anticipated, annual 'Fayetteville Tacky Sweater Party" and I couldn't be more excited! This tradition started our freshman year of college as a way to get everyone we graduated High School with back together over the Christmas break. It has now grown into quite the social gathering with 150+ people in attendance. It usually gets pretty sloppy so I'll be sure to take some humorous pictures to share with you all! Have a cheerful and SAFE weekend!!

Custom Ornaments!

Last week I made 82 ornaments for the players, coaches, and trainers for the '64 Razorback Champs for a tree in the Lindsey Building. The turned out great!

This year I am doing custom ordered ornaments which are great gifts for newlyweds, baby's first Christmas, team-mates, teachers, family members, and I'm sure I could think of a 100 more!

The ornaments are 4," available in any color, with a large ribbon and two smaller for decoration also in any color of your choice. I can customize just one side or both sides of the ornament to say what ever you'd like! $10 each or $35 for 4.

Email Kirsten.b.design@gmail.com for orders.

WDTSP 1

That stands for... "Winter Dreams Tour Sneak Peek 1." My parents house will be on the Junior League's Winter Dreams Tour this year and will also be in Citiscape's December Issue. So Exciting!!

Each week Leading up to the tour I'm going to give a sneak peek of each room in the house. I wont give away the whole room because then you wont want to stop by during the tour which is for a good cause... so you should grab your friends and go!!

This week I'm showing you the room that's decorated for Christmas the least because it is only the first week of November. So... enjoy the kitchen. Black walls, cream and black cabinets, red and orange leopard print bar stools. Yum!

Just a little reminder to get your tickets. The Winter Dreams Tour has always been my favorite day of the year!!
